The game developers have announced an aggressive schedule for downloadable updates, which will include new women's soccer teams and leagues. This game release will also be the first in the franchise to fully support women's club football, including England's FA Women's Super League and French Division 1 Féminine present at the launch.
The gameplay is also enhanced with “Active Touch”, a new dribbling system that improves the footballer's management of the ball, turning, and responsive movement. Among numerous add-ons that have enabled this game to be even more realistic and immersive than its predecessors, the most noticeable features include the addition of the HyperMotion2 animation system that makes on-field movements much more lifelike and in accordance with the athletic feats of popular soccer players.
